Why she wrote it.
I wrote this book because I needed it and it didn't exist. I was in the middle of the hardest season of my life — and every resource I found either told me to pray harder or gave me a five-step plan. What I needed was someone to sit with me in the dark and tell me the truth: that God was there, that healing was possible, and that I didn't have to have it together to begin. That's what I tried to write. I hope it finds you exactly where you are.
